Wealth is a system.

Power is knowledge.
Money is design.

One instrument. One hour a day. A method you can say out loud.

Reading is open to everyone. Joining in takes a profile.

The honest part

Most of this is waiting.

Twenty-four hours in a trading day. We use one.

Three o’clock to four. Before that, we measure. After it, we either manage something already open or we close the laptop.

The hours you are not trading are the hours you cannot lose money in.

Risk comes from not knowing what you’re doing.

STIOS V2

Five steps. In order. Every day.

Short-Term Investments Operating System.

Operating is the word that matters. Run the sequence properly and it gives everyone the same answer, which is what makes it teachable.

  1. 1

    Read the trend

Establish direction on the 4H chart before drawing anything.

  2. 2

    Draw the Asian box

Mark the range from midnight to 08:00. Its high and low are the reference.

  3. 3

    Find the breakout

At 15:00, check which side of the box broke most recently. Broke above → look for sells. Broke below → look for buys.

  4. 4

    Draw the Fibonacci

Low → high of day for buys, high → low for sells. The 79% level is the entry.

  5. 5

    Wait for the approach

After 15:30, price must travel 50 pips toward the 79% entry. The approach is the confirmation — not the level itself.

This is a sell day. Price pushed above the Asian range before three, which looks bullish and is exactly why we fade it.

Then we wait to see whether price walks back up to meet us. If it never makes the walk, there is no trade, and that is a perfectly good afternoon.

The rhythm

Three sessions we sit out.
One we show up for.

  • AsianThe box forms. We measure.

Decided before you can regret it.

Fifty in your favour and you stop adding. Past seventy, the stop moves up to bank fifty and the trade is allowed to breathe.

Fifty against you and it goes to review. Close it, or add to it, based on what price is doing rather than how you feel about it.

None of it is complicated. All of it is difficult.

That gap is the whole job. It is why we keep journals, and why the people here talk to each other.

The library

This was a reading room first.

Years before it was a trading desk. All of it came across.

Money, handled

Budgeting, debt, tax and cash flow. Five minutes each, roughly a coffee.

Markets, explained

An A to Z of the vocabulary, so you never have to nod along again.

A record of your own

Every trade logged. After a month it stops being admin and becomes evidence.

The desk

Same chart. Different eyes.

Before half past three, members commit to a direction and one line explaining why.

The tally stays hidden until the lock. A number on a screen is persuasive, and we would rather you read the box than read the room.

Feedback on someone’s analysis goes to them privately, which makes it kinder and a good deal more honest.

The best time to start was twenty years ago.

The second best is this afternoon at three.
